Everything or Nothing

I met this artist at my uni alumni meeting, a night trip in the musuem with a tour of their storage facilities (read: 3-400000 articles) Anyway, she invited me to visit her house which i did Wed arvo. She's over 60, living in an amazing shoe factory converted building, sharing with me 30+ yrs of her work well stashed in antique wood document drawers, installations all over her house including her front door. 30 years of creating in 3 hours of catchups, fucking intense i kid you not.

We met an even older lady at the gathering with the MOST amazing owl brooch, only to find out it was made by the artist i visited. Generous she was, knowing I have a bird brooch collection, I went home with 5 new birds & wore my fave to work yesterday.

I marked Wednesday as my happy accidents day, I met my fav lebanese man + kebabs and sweets for the Artist, met the owner of a danish furniture shop who happens to know my bosses, chanced upon a outlet shop where only the cheapest jacket fit and flattered me, got that 20 dollar jacket... all on my way to visit the Artist.

p.s. met the director of Home Song Stories yesterday night, but thats for another day isnt it?
