For the senses
The 1.6 km route to the sale(that was more an excuse than a motivation) was refreshingly good. As those who know me well might know, I am not a good scavenger when it comes to such events. With an empty wallet, because they accept cash only, i ducked in and out of the premises withing 2 mins only to succumb to the smells that lingered around the corner of Devonshire. I had to instead sit down for coffee and a chicken bacon sausage roll at the bakery on Bourke. It did not suffice, but of course, and i had to get a pear and almond tart as an incentive for walking so far and having to walk back.
an hour and abit later, my jeans are heavier, my right sock turned a shade of grey because of the hole in my shoe, my toes drenched and slightly blue from the cold. and i am wondering why i can never stop talking about food. whats with this passion that's bordering on obsession?
