A full run of adele19 later...
since my school has thrown away my manly gear, my ziplock bag full of fine fasteners, and the best set of flat+round head pliers i ever had... i have had to look into other gadgets to get by.
One full run of the cd later, that tomato detox soup is gonna be good to go when the sun sets. Perfect. Made even more so by a good set of gear. My new set of pots distributes heat so evenly food doesnt stick on the non coated pot walls. the cover is really an angel in disguise guarding your pot full of yums and making sure it catches the condensed vapor in its lil groove. just so you wouldnt burn and get hurt of course. and yes you can throw it into the oven. i can imagine being jamie oliver already :)
and my knife! its so sharp its makes soggy veges sound crisp. mincing garlic at top speed because it doesnt attempt to mash the fibers into a mush nor into the grooves of your chopping board. even when you have accidents, the cut is so clean it heals faster if you are bleeding at all. i nearly had an accident weeks back and was surprised to see that sliver of skin dangling from my finger. i thought it was garlic skin.
---
if you are in newcastle in 3 weeks or so, do catch adele in concert. she sings of love, may initially sound generic, but her genuineness will win you. Think Missy Higgins + Erykah Badu + Amy Winehouse + Ella Fitzgerald.
