Unison of comfort and convenience
the weather has been a damper (haw!) for 2 days now. and my jeans are gonna stink because the sun refuses to come out to play. enough of digressions, let me share with you my happy accident.
although convenience food is not part of my skinnypore project, i have had to explore that due to the wet weather. and my happy accident happened in Cold's (the grocer) in their sushi section. forget the vacu sealed hydro/aeroponic veggies. pay a lil more for the salads offered at the sushi section of cold's. they have sashimi salad with wasabi mayo, and the traditional egg+potato salad with jap dressing. but what really wowed my socks off was the tofu avocado salad i picked out. the sesame dressing is unpretentious and most earthy. i tell you, slurping those pieces of cold wobbly sesame dressed tofu whilst watching the rain and falling leaves, really forced me to redefine bliss.
ok now. my gerflen has called and i gotta dress up (cos she would have), we are off to dine before heading for an exhibition opening. so toodles. have a good weekend y'all!
